Hi! I’m Marsha Novick, MD, FAAFP, dABOM and Medical Director of Weight Management & Wellness Online. I am a national expert in the field of Obesity Medicine and am board-certified in family medicine and obesity medicine. I have over 20 years of experience and have treated thousands of adults and children with weight problems.

Early in my career, while working in a family medicine office caring for the underserved, I quickly realized that nutrition played a key role in keeping people healthy. I also observed how a poor diet led to many preventable medical conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol.

Through a respectful rapport, I learned that many of my patients could not afford prescription medication, and this was the inspiration for me to develop an approach to help my patients better care for themselves through diet and lifestyle changes. It was a win-win situation! I enjoyed the preventive care and my patients had better health! To this day, I am passionate about keeping my patients healthy through this method that I have developed, which has positively impacted hundreds, if not thousands, of my patients.

It is my privilege to use a scientific and unique approach to offer you personalized care using a membership model in my practice. This allows me to focus on YOU and enables me to provide the level of attention to develop a customized plan according to your personal needs and partner with you for long-term health and well-being. My greatest strength is being able to listen carefully to my patients to better diagnose and individualize treatment.

I live in Pennsylvania with my husband and have 3 high-school/college-aged children. I have spent countless hours watching my children play sports and enjoy reading, aerobics, listening to music, watching sports, travel, and anything Harry Potter.
